Cappadocia Cooking Class and Local Life Tour

This trip program allows you to experience the tastiest of Turkish cuisine whilst still seeing one of Cappadocia’s no-tourism-touch villages in one day.

For Cappadocia Cooking Class and Local Life Tour, Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 10:00 am and transfer you to one of Cappadocia’s local markets (except Tuesday and Thursday) where you’ll buy things for the supper you will make for yourself.

We will then transport you to a nearby home to begin cooking the delightful cuisine. To begin, you will learn how to prepare Turkey’s favorite soup: lentil soup.

Lentil is farmed in Turkey, and it has long been the most popular soup in the region, with a delicious taste. While the lentil soup is heating, begin preparing the Karniyarik. Karniyarik is one of the most delectable foods that includes eggplant.

Karniyarik is a dish made from stuffed eggplant with chopped onions, garlic, black pepper, tomatoes, parsley, and ground beef.

The following meal will be Sarma, a traditional dish in Turkey. Sarma is made from filled grape leaves that have been fried in olive oil.

Our local lady will teach you how to choose nice vine leaves and roll methods. This will most likely be the most exciting and fun portion of your trip. We’ll purchase some fresh fruit as a dessert when we’re at the neighborhood market.

Finally, our local lady will serve you Turkish coffee. Even though Turkey has no coffee, the way we prepare it has created its own culture, and it has come to be known as Turkish Coffee. You will learn how to make it as well as the customs and history of coffee drinking.

Following this unforgettable encounter, we will transport you to a rural town in Cappadocia. There are still many villages in Cappadocia that have no tourist infrastructure, like hotels or restaurants. We will be the only ones in the village that speak English.

We’ll travel around the village and attempt to talk to the inhabitants about their way of life and work.

If we’re fortunate, we’ll see folks working in their vineyards or riding donkeys. Finally, we’ll go to the village’s main coffee shop, where our guide will locate some locals to play our national game, OKEY.

Our tutorial will teach you the fundamentals of the game before introducing you to the game’s playing culture. After the trip, we will return you to your hotel at 5:00 p.m
