Ozluce Underground City

On the Derinkuyu highway in the province of Nevşehir, 6 km to the west of Kaymakli Town, lies an underground city called Ozlüce. This city was formerly known as Zile, and it goes by both names. Compared to other underground settlements, Ozlüce’s structure is quite distinctive. It has distinctive geological and architectural features. Several types of tuff rocks were used to create the underground metropolis. The floor system is unavailable in this city, and the inside has not been thoroughly cleaned. Some underground settlements in Cappadocia are multi-story structures. There are various uses for the underground floors. Because it only has one story, it cannot be argued that this technique was used for Ozlüce Underground City. Zile’s Ozluce Village
The most magnificent underground city, Ozlüce Underground City, is situated in Cappadocia’s Ozlüce Village. Zile was the village’s former name. The village is a typical Greek one.
