Private Guided Cappadocia Tour

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at 9:30 a.m. and start the trek through the Red and Rose Valleys, both of Cappadocia’s most stunning valleys.

There will be several pigeon homes, an incredible view of Uchisar Castle, and some rock-cut churches over 1,000 years old.

The hike will last around 1.5 hours and culminate in Cavusin Town, an abandoned Greek village with breathtaking views.

Cavusin village was abandoned in the 1950s because of the falling rocks. After enjoying the panoramic view of the village, we will travel to Uchisar Castle Viewpoint to see the gorgeous view of the castle.

After our visit, we’ll go to a local restaurant for lunch. This restaurant serves the well-known “Pottery Kebab.”

We will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum after lunch, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.

You’ll see the best-preserved rock-cut churches in Cappadocia and learn about Eastern Orthodox church murals and decorations.

We will next drive to Mustafapasa (Sinasos) Village. Until the population swap was completed in 1924, this settlement had both Turkish and Greek residents.

We’ll visit several historic Greek dwellings, as well as an Ottoman madrasah and an old church. Then we’ll make a stop in Urgup to visit some stunning fairy chimneys.
